Social & Interaction
We strive to bring families closer together by creating shared experiences. We believe development within a family can truly help flourish our community. Seeds of Hope offers family support such as friendships, ride-shares, a meeting place, & care-giving.
Seeds of Hope welcomes schools to bring their 17-22 year old students with developmental and other disabilities to volunteer in work related activities or recreational activities. All students must be supervised by school staff at all times.
Seeds of Hope welcomes group homes and day programing organizations. Groups usually consist of between 5-12 individuals with developmental and other disabilities. All individuals visiting Seeds of Hope must be cared for and supervised by the organization that brings them to our facility.
If your child has aged out of school, and you don’t belong to a group home or a day program you can still participate at Seeds of Hope. Seeds of Hope will create groups of between 5-12 individuals as families join our support groups. We will have monthly family support meetings that all can attend. At that time, we will discuss opportunities for more involvement within Seeds of Hope and also other community activities that your family may be able to participate with. As we grow, Seeds of Hope will introduce caregivers to be a part of your son or daughters programming.
Seeds of Hope currently offers full & half day events and opportunities featuring activities listed on the previous page. We are focused on providing relevant services for people living with special needs. At the present time Seeds of Hope is incorporating morning workouts, social nights and weekend picnics to our workshops. We look forward to the opportunity to help families and individuals grow and become all that
they can be.
